Arriving at the end of his first decade in the real estate industry, Christopher Krohe, has found himself at the end of one endeavor but anxiously anticipating new challenges and milestones at WEICHERT, REALTORS® Frankel & Giles.  He believes that growing up in rural Iowa afforded him many advantages to working in such a relationship driven business.

In May of 2000, Krohe graduated with a B.A. in Business Management from Concordia University Chicago, located in River Forest, IL.  After graduating and spending a brief time working for a local contractor, the entrepreneurial Krohe introduced Nickel Construction to the world in the summer of 2001.  Over the next 8 years he would oversee home remodeling projects, such as kitchens, baths, additions and commercial build-outs. Creating a business built on relationships and a reputation for quality. 

During this same timeframe, Christopher managed to build a successful real estate career at Prudential Premier LLC in Oak Park, IL.  With the foundation of the real estate business he learned at Prudential and the insight of 2 business partners, Krohe procured his Real Estate Broker License in the fall of 2006. On December 1 the three ventured out to start Nickel Real Estate Group.  From the humble beginning of 3 wide-eyed brokers, Nickel Real Estate Group became the fastest growing real estate company over the next 4 years in the near west suburbs of Chicago.  Posting 50% plus, growth in 3 of its 4 years, which coincided with one of the worst economic downturns in this countries history.

Aiding in this growth was the decision to invest into WEICHERT, REALTORS®.  In October 2008 the independent Nickel Real Estate Group became WEICHERT, REALTORS® Nickel Group.  Through this relationship and an appreciation for the systems and vision of WEICHERT, REALTORS® Krohe has taken the first step in his latest venture.  On February 17, Christopher Krohe joined an aggressive and opportunistic company, WEICHERT, REALTORS® Frankel & Giles in the “South Loop” neighborhood of Chicago.  Shortly following, Krohe found himself as co-owner of the office and managing the 40+ agents on a day to day basis.  He now anticipates the company’s success and excitedly works to improve their efficiency and productivity.
